I’m Alan Gorman

A little about me.

My ultimate goal as a designer is to create meaningful design experiences that influence how people interact with their physical surroundings. I received my Bachelor of Fine Arts in Graphic Design from Delta State University in 2018. I am currently working as a Senior Graphic Designer for Agora Eversole in Jackson, Mississippi.

I‍ was born and reared in the Mississippi Delta, which has impacted me as an artist and person. The rich culture, diversity, and history of the arts in the Delta helped spur creativity and inspiration. Over the years, I have utilized an array of artistic mediums, including drawing, ceramics, painting, and printmaking. However, my true passion is graphic design, which influences and impacts viewers’ everyday lives.

I continue to seek ways to develop my artistic and design skills further and delve into other creative mediums that will further my artistic career. My design styles range based on the subject matter and the client’s desired outcome. Typically, I strive to draw the viewer into my work through strategically placed graphics, text, and color, which presents the viewer with the necessary information. My goal is to blend graphic design works from the early and mid-20th century with more contemporary design styles.
