For my Senior Project at Delta State University, I created a company committed to making fashionable and comfortable clothes inspired by urban environments worldwide. My project’s style finds balance in mixing modern and vintage design styles and drawing influence from various cultures and regions. The focus was on urban environments and was derived from the significant impact of both traditional and street art and the freedom that comes with artistic expression.
Branding guide
One component of this assignment was to write and design a branding guide for my company – Rampancy. For the layout of my branding guide, I focused on carrying a visual identity that was cohesive throughout by incorporating imagery, typography, design elements, and color.
Ad Campaign
Rampancy draws inspiration from global urban landscapes and the people within those environments. Therefore, photography played a crucial role in design choices and branding. For my ad campaigns, I chose photos with subject matters that reflect the brand’s identity and incorporated a diverse group of individuals, urban environments, and the influence of art within the urban landscape.
Products & Illustrations
The company I created for my senior project was about being unique, bold, and free. The company was to be committed to making fashionable and comfortable clothes inspired by urban environments from around the world. My designs included vector illustrations that resembled vintage travel posters and street art. Additionally, the designs would also be sold as artist prints.
