As the lead Graphic Designer at Latter & Blum Property Management, I oversaw all aspects of both digital and print media marketing. One of my main tasks at Latter Blum Property Management was to design, build, and optimize fully functioning websites for our 80+ properties across the Gulf Coast Region.
When designing a website, I strived to make it easily accessible to all age demographics, be ADA compliant, and efficiently outline and showcase each property’s amenities, location, and floor plans through compelling copy and imagery. One of the initial challenges when undertaking this task was ensuring each property used its unique design language while still reflecting solidarity under Latter and Blum’s Property Management’s corporate umbrella.
200 Carondelet is a historic apartment building located in the New Orleans Central Business District. The building’s art-deco lobby inspired the site’s design and elements; however, the modern and sleek interiors of the updated apartment units are reflected in the minimalistic design. The color scheme is derived from the sweeping views of the nearby French Quarter and the earthy tones of the local architecture.
Camden Lake Apartments is an upscale living community in Baton Rouge, Louisiana. The community’s color scheme invokes serenity and draws from the sparkling resort swimming pool, lush landscaping, and waterways. The design of this site incorporates elements of the surrounding natural environment and the property’s modern design finishes.
St. Joseph Apartments is a senior living community in Gretna, Louisiana. With a demographic age of 55+, the primary focus when designing this site was to make the site both ADA-compliant and easy to navigate. I chose a single-page scrolling website with anchor links in the navigation bar to accomplish this.
Forest Park is an affordable apartment community with an active community center and after-school program. The design for this website is a single-page scrolling site that is easy to view and navigate. The imagery and language of this site is catered to the primary demographic of families with children.
